The recommendations below identify the controller, voltage or equipment combination to select for each application. For lithium systems, also follow the configuration guidance at the bottom of this page.

iHCC650 500W – 12V/24V Hybrid Wind Turbine Charge Controller

Recommended for standard lead-acid batteries, including GEL and AGM types. This controller is not compatible with lithium batteries.

The I/HCC-P 800W - 12V/24V Hybrid Charge Controller can also be used with standard lead-acid, GEL and AGM batteries.

After you place your order, our team configures the controller according to your battery’s technical specifications. Please provide these details so we can complete the setup before dispatch.

On-grid use

On-grid turbine version · Both devices required
  • FKJ-GT3KW – AC220V wind generator controller
  • DMEP-3KS48P on-grid inverter

These two devices must be used together with the on-grid version of the Heli 2.

Heli 2 compatibility: The I/HCC-P 2000W - 48V Hybrid Charge Controller and the SUN-2000G2-WAL-H on-grid inverter are not compatible with the Heli 2.

I/HCC-P Hybrid Charge Controllers: Contact us before placing your order and provide your battery’s technical specifications. We can configure the controller before dispatch or leave its settings unlocked so you can configure it yourself.

I/HCC-2000/48 Volt Pro Charge Controller For Lithium Version: We configure this controller after your order according to the battery information you provide. Please send your battery’s technical specifications so we can complete the setup before dispatch.

Selecting the correct system

Check the voltage and the complete combination.

For battery charging, choose matching turbine, controller and battery system voltages. For on-grid operation, select the specified turbine version and inverter combination.

The on-grid inverters listed above are intended for grid connection and cannot be connected directly to batteries.
