Intelligent Wind Charging with Integrated Protection
The iSTA-BREEZE® I/HCC Pro Wind Charge Controller is designed for safe and efficient battery charging from compatible wind generators in 24V or 48V systems. It monitors system voltage and provides controlled turbine braking to help protect the battery, generator and connected components.
The I/HCC Pro is a dedicated wind charge controller, not a hybrid controller. It can also be integrated into a correctly designed hybrid system alongside a separate solar charge controller connected to the same battery bank.
Controlled Charging and Turbine Protection
When the battery reaches full charge or the defined voltage limit, excess energy is directed to an external dump load and the turbine is braked in a controlled manner. This helps reduce stress on the generator and supports reliable long-term operation.
Lithium Battery Configuration
For lithium battery systems, the charge controller usually requires individual configuration according to the battery specifications. Customers must provide the relevant battery values so that the controller can be configured by our technicians using our special software.
For lithium applications, this correctly configured charge controller is required to ensure that the wind turbine and battery system operate with the appropriate charging and protection values.
