The iSTA-BREEZE® I/HCC Pro Wind Charge Controller is designed for safe and efficient battery charging from compatible wind generators in 24V or 48V systems. Intelligent voltage monitoring, controlled turbine braking and integrated protection functions help protect the battery, wind generator and connected system components.
The I/HCC Pro is a dedicated wind charge controller, not a hybrid controller. It can be integrated into a correctly designed hybrid system alongside a separate solar charge controller connected to the same battery bank.
The controller monitors system voltage to prevent excessive charging. When the battery reaches full charge or the defined voltage limit, excess energy is directed to an external dump load and the wind generator is braked in a controlled manner. This helps reduce stress on the generator and supports reliable long-term operation.
This version is designed for standard battery systems and is not configured for lithium batteries.
If you use a lithium battery, please select the appropriate Lithium version of the charge controller or contact us before ordering. Lithium systems may require individual configuration based on the battery specifications. In such cases, the required battery values must be provided so that the controller can be configured using our special software.
